ABOUT ME
Houlihan Lawrence agent Gideon Fountain grew up in Greenwich and has been selling real estate here since 1986. He attended local schools, Boston University School of Management, finally finishing at Manhattan’s Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theater.
Now twenty-plus years into the age of the Internet, Gideon believes real estate agents have remained viable because they accumulate an array of local market knowledge that is hard to duplicate. Going out each day and actually seeing individual properties, noting their eventual selling prices, and hearing customer reactions to those properties, is an invaluable experience that a Zillow search will never match.
Gideon also believes brokers should listen more than they talk, and when they do talk, their answers should be accurate and honest. Gideon likes real estate, but what gives him the greatest pleasure is meeting the variety of people that a town like Greenwich attracts.
